One family had three kids all in elementary school. The total cost for basic school supplies was causing strain on the family's budget. The mood around the home was irritable as you can imagine and the youngest (7) was getting nervous. While all her friends were excited about going back to school, this eager 7 year old found it difficult to share in the excitement with her friends the same way.
After participating in the Love INC school supply drive the parents of this 7 year old were so relieved that all three of their kids got everything they needed to start school with confidence. The 7 year old even got to pick her favorite color folders (green). As she walked past the last volunteer with her new backpack full of supplies she said "I even got a kitty cat eraser. I love cats."
